Need a Quiet Place to Meet . . .

Mastick Senior Center has many nooks & crannies that can be used as potential meeting areas.

If you need to meet with a contractor or interview a caregiver and don't want to meet at your home, please take advantage of the comfortable, friendly atmosphere provided at Mastick Senior Center.

Mastick Senior Center Advisory Board meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am in Room D. The Advisory Board, comprised of five officers and 10 directors, is the active administrative advisory committee for the Center.

The Board provides advice & counsel on all matters connected with accomplishing the Center's mission. Mastick Advisory Board meetings are open to the general membership. Please join us!



Visit Mastick!! California Retired Teachers Association, Area IV, East Bay Division, meets in the Mastick Social Hall on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. The meetings are open to all retired public education and administrative professionals residing within Alameda County.

Their objectives are to support public education, promote the professional interest of public school teachers, and provide a continuing statewide scholarship program as well as to promote the welfare and social relationships of its members. This is a nonprofit, benevolent and protective organization without union association. Monthly meetings include catered lunches, entertainment, socialization, community spirit, and more!

The Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group meets in Room D from 10:00 - 11:30 am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

This group is for individuals caring for a loved one with Alzheimer Disease or dementia. Prior registration is not required. The group facilitator is provided by the Alzheimer’s Association.



The Actively Aging Support Group offered by Alameda Family Services, provides a safe space for adults 50 and better to discuss the challenges and triumphs of aging. Prior registration is required, so please call (510) 629-6345.



The Diabetes Support Group is provided by the Alameda County Public Health Department Diabetes Program. If you or someone you love has diabetes, consider joining the group.
